Before the Brief
Stop chasing misaligned assumptions
If you could invite the sharpest minds in UX Research, Product, and Design to dinner in Seattle, who would you choose?
...for us, it's you.
This March, we’re setting the table for something special—The Insight Exchange, a complimentary, intimate conversational dinner series hosted by Askable.
As part of our ongoing commitment to fostering meaningful dialogue within the UX community, The Insight Exchange offers a unique opportunity to engage in deep, candid discussions with leaders and peers from across the industry.
Each dinner centers on a single pressing topic that reflects our rapidly evolving market landscape, creating a space to exchange insights, strategies, and maybe even some war stories from our collective journey of building world-class products and experiences.
From the first sip to the final word, the evening will be a blend of bold flavors and even bolder ideas.
For this dinner, we're diving into how teams are using generative research to shape product direction before there’s a roadmap, a backlog, or even a clearly defined problem. It’s about the early, ambiguous phase where research helps uncover real user needs and opportunity areas, often long before anyone’s talking about features.
This conversation looks at how insights from discovery are influencing what actually makes it onto the roadmap, and how teams are tracking that influence over time.
What to expect:
- $50 Uber voucher for travel to / from dinner
- Cocktail hour prior to dinner
- Relatable UX was stories
- New connections and ways of thinking
