What are Askable Connectors?

Askable Connectors put your research inside the tools you already work in. Ask from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Copilot, Figma Make or Lovable, and the answer comes back with the same source links you'd get in Askable.

What is MCP, and do I need to understand it?

No. MCP is the open standard that lets a tool like Claude reach an outside system, and Askable speaks it. What it means for you is that we turn up as something your AI tool can ask, with your permissions and your source links intact.

What can Claude or ChatGPT see when you connect them to Askable?

Almost nothing. Askable sends synthesized findings and quotes, plus a first name, age and country. That's the whole list. Recordings, full identity, source clips and screener answers never leave, and a source link takes you back into Askable to see them.

How do you verify a quote from inside a connected tool?

Follow the source link. It takes you back into Askable, where you sign in and see the person, the session and the clip. The evidence stays checkable and the participant stays protected.

Do you need engineering help to set up Askable Connectors?

No. You connect once per tool and it works from then on. You might need your team admin to set it up for you based on your internal security setup.

Are Askable Connectors secure?

Yes. A connector inherits your workspace permissions, so nobody reaches evidence through Claude that they couldn't already open in Askable. You keep SSO via SAML 2.0, SCIM provisioning, audit logs and encryption in transit. We hold SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001, ISO 27701 and ISO 42001.
