Askable is now a Figma connector: human evidence, on the canvas

What's new

Askable is now available as a verified partner connector in Figma.

Built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP), it lets you pull your research findings into Figma and work from them without leaving the file.

Instead of treating research as something you go and look up, you can ask for the evidence behind a decision while you're in the middle of making it.

Why it matters

AI sped up almost everything about building products. You can design, prototype, and ship in days. The one thing that didn't get faster is the evidence. Research tends to stay stuck in one place, the research platform, while decisions get made somewhere else entirely. When evidence is hard to reach, teams quietly fall back on assumptions, opinions, or whatever happens to be closest to hand.

What makes this different is where the evidence comes from. These are verified user findings, not notes, raw transcripts, or a summary that may be confidently wrong. The agent works from trustworthy findings rather than whatever is lying around, and every finding traces back to a verified participant, a real session, and the exact moment it happened.

What you can do

The connector works across the Figma surfaces where product teams already spend their time:

  • Figma Make. Ground prototypes in what verified participants actually said and did, so what you build starts from evidence instead of a guess.
  • Figma Design. Check a flow against your evidence and see where it matches what users told you and where it diverges.
  • Slides. Build decks straight from findings, with real participant quotes and clips already attached.
  • FigJam. Pull findings into synthesis and prioritisation, so the board starts from evidence, not opinion.

Grounded in real, verified humans

Every finding the connector surfaces is traceable. You can follow it back to the participant who said it, the session it came from, and the moment it happened. That evidence is drawn from Askable's owned panel of millions of verified participants across 50+ countries, with a 97.8% show rate and 100% traceable evidence.

Getting started

  1. In the Figma agent or Figma Make chat box, click Add context, then Connectors.
  2. Find Askable in the list and click Connect.
  3. Sign in to Askable through the OAuth prompt. (If nothing happens, check your browser for a blocked popup.)
  4. Type @ in the chat, pick Askable, and ask your question.
  5. The agent will ask for consent before it runs, so click Run when you're ready.

Read tools are on by default so the agent can fetch your evidence, and you control the rest. Each tool can be set to "Ask to run," "Always run," or "Never run," and you can pause the connector for any single conversation.

A quick note on access: the Figma agent is in free open beta on paid plans. Full seat holders can use connectors in regular files, and View, Dev, or Collab seats can try them in Drafts. You'll need edit access to the file and an Askable account.

Try it

The Askable connector is in Figma today. Add it from the connectors menu and ask your first question.
